Privacy policy

Vivian is a personal assistant you use on WhatsApp. This policy explains what information Vivian collects, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. Questions go to hello@usevivian.com.
What we collect
- Waitlist sign-ups: your name and WhatsApp number, the country worked out from your number's country code, and which form on the website you used.
- Your conversations with Vivian: the messages, photos, PDFs and voice notes you send, and Vivian's replies. Voice notes are turned into text.
- Things you ask Vivian to remember, and the reminders and check-ins you set up, including your time zone.
- Accounts you choose to connect, such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Outlook or Zoho Mail. Vivian reads and acts on these when you ask, or to prepare your check-ins.
- Yahoo Mail and iCloud Mail, if you connect them with an app password. The app password is stored encrypted.
- Emails you forward to your personal Vivian forwarding address.
- Service records: for each reply, which tools Vivian used, how long it took and how much processing it needed, so we can keep the service reliable.
How we use it
- To run Vivian for you: answering messages, reminders, check-ins and the tasks you ask for.
- To contact you on WhatsApp about the waitlist and when Vivian is ready for you.
- To fix problems and improve how Vivian works.
We do not sell your personal data.
